Starting on Sunday 7th November we will be holding our second BTC Members Week for the season with a weekly program designed specifically for new members or people who are new to the sport of triathlon.
All of our coached sessions (swim, brick & track) will have an extra coach on hand plus we will run a separate coached sessions for beginners alongside our regular sessions and we will have social events post training. So if you have been putting off coming along to training, members week is the week to join in !
EXISTING MEMBERS, WHY NOT BRING A MATE ALONG TO TRACK OR OPEN WATER SWIM!
SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK:
Sunday 8th November
Sunday long-social ride. Join in with either a 40km or 60km group ride leaving 6:30 am from Mosman (car park between Avenue Rd and Raglan St, Mosman). We will have ride leaders and committee members, come along for a social ride followed by coffee. Please register more details and so we know who to expect.
**To join our ride you MUST be a member of Balmoral Tri Club, or Tri NSW or Cycling Australia for insurance purposes. It is recommended that you have some level of cycling experience to come along to these, but no rider will be left behind so you don't need to be fast.
Tuesday 10th November
Beginners Ride with Coach Lew. You must be a BTC member to join in with Coach Lew. This ride will focus on cycling skills for beginners. Please register for more details and so that we know how many to expect.
Thursday 12th November
Thursday night Track - 6:30pm Rawson Park, an extra coach will be at track to run a specific beginners running session. Followed by beer and steak at the local pub after training (The Beuena Vista Hotel).
Saturday 7th November
Brick (bike and run) 7am Centennial Park, extra coach on deck. What to bring: bike, helmet, cycling and running shoes, money for coffee after. All abilities welcome. We cycle around the park so you can't get lost! A great intro to triathlon training.
